I’ve worked in recruitment for 12 years. I got into the industry because I wanted a career I could grow in and something where I was in control of my own success and earning potential. Recruitment ticked all the boxes, and it’s been a brilliant journey ever since.

My specialisms are in the Industrial and Driving sectors. I’ve built up a strong understanding of what clients in these spaces need, and I know how to find candidates who not only have the right skills but also the right mindset.

One of the most rewarding projects I’ve worked on is the national contract for B&Q, which I currently manage. It’s a high-volume, high-stakes contract and I love the challenge of keeping everything running smoothly and growing week after week.

Before joining Swift Temps, I already had 7 years of experience as a 360 consultant, so I brought with me a solid foundation of client management, candidate sourcing, and contract delivery.

• Proudest professional achievement? Taking over the B&Q contract and scaling it successfully while also passing every audit with flying colours. It’s been a big win for the branch and for me personally.
• If I could swap jobs for a day… I wouldn’t! I love my role and the impact I get to make every day.

Experience & Background

I have been in recruitment less than a couple of months, having previously worked in retail for three years. I was drawn to the industry because I’m very money motivated, and the earning potential and commission structure were a big part of what attracted me to recruitment.

Although I’m new to the industry, I’ve already started building experience across Industrial and Transport recruitment. One of the projects I’ve enjoyed so far has been recruiting staff for a large logistics company, giving me the opportunity to get involved in the fast-paced nature of recruitment from the start.

I’ve brought strong teamwork and communication skills with me from my previous experience, both of which are important when you're working with candidates, clients, and a busy team.

What I enjoy most about working at Swift Temps is being part of an office environment. I like talking to people, whether that's the team around me, candidates, or clients, and I enjoy the variety that comes with the role.

My role is about helping candidates find opportunities that suit their needs, while also building strong relationships with clients to understand what they need from their staffing solutions.

What motivates me each day is the environment I work in. The Manchester office is calm and welcoming, which makes the day feel easier, and I enjoy helping people find the right opportunities while supporting clients with their recruitment needs.

Candidate care is important to me because I want everyone to feel valued, respected, and supported throughout the recruitment process. Looking for work can be a big step for someone, and I think people deserve to feel that they are being properly supported along the way.
