As a responsible and ethical business, Swift Temps and Swift Temps North West have a zero-tolerance approach to all types of slavery and human trafficking within our business and supply chains. In line with the Modern Slavery Act 2015, we are committed to ensuring that our employees and any workers supplied (directly or indirectly) are not subject to behaviour or threats that may amount to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, and any other similar human rights abuses.

We are also committed to ensuring our approach to tackling modern slavery, both in our own business, and throughout our supply chains, is consistent with any disclosure obligations under the Modern Slavery Act 2015.

In order to assess the risk of modern slavery, we use the following processes:

  • Assess and identify potential risk areas when considering taking on new workers and clients
  • Review the potential for risk at regular intervals, including the possibility of conducting spot checks
  • We aim to protect whistleblowers.

Our teams are highly trained and experienced recruitment professionals who are well versed in the Modern Slavery Act 2015, however, we always provide full training as part of our induction process.

This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes Swift Temps and Swift Temps North West’s slavery and human trafficking statement for 2019 and 2020. It has been approved by the Board of Directors, who will review and update it regularly.

This statement sets out our actions and commitment regarding modern slavery risks across both our supply chain and our workers, to ensure steps are maintained to prevent both slavery and human trafficking.
