In 2018, Swift Temps officially opened a new office in the North West of England as part of its five-year growth plans.

In Summer 2020, this growth continued with the addition of our Manchester (Salford Quays) office. Leading the North West team from our office in St.Helens is Dave Cottington.

We are experts when it comes to temporary and permanent staffing solutions across the driving, industrial, technical and logistics sectors.

We take the time to understand our clients and their requirements, working closely to understand your business and culture. When it comes to finding the right candidate for your role, we work as an extension of your recruitment team screening and vetting candidates before they meet you.

Unlike many of our competitors, we work closely with candidates to ensure they are the right fit for both the role and your business. We care about our candidate journey and take every step to ensure we align the right candidates with the right jobs.

With a focus on communication, we always aim to get it ‘right first time’, saving you time and money when it comes to finding the perfect match.

The Local Jobs Market

The Liverpool City Regional Growth Strategy anticipates the creation of over 100,000 additional jobs in the North West area by 2040 - we aim to play a major part both supporting local businesses and supporting residents into work.

The local recruitment market is only set to become more competitive. A survey carried out in 2016 by the UK Commission for Employment & Skills highlighted how skills shortages have increased since the last financial recovery; 79% of UK employers say the biggest challenge will be a shortage of suitable candidates.

To overcome this we only operate across the engineering, technical and industrial sectors; allowing us to maintain our focus at all times. We take the time to get to know our clients and candidates, understanding the challenges they face and working in partnership to overcome them.

Would you like to get in touch? We would be delighted to hear from you.
