The Local Jobs Market
The Liverpool City Regional Growth Strategy anticipates the creation of over 100,000 additional jobs in the North West area by 2040 - we aim to play a major part both supporting local businesses and supporting residents into work.
The local recruitment market is only set to become more competitive. A survey carried out in 2016 by the UK Commission for Employment & Skills highlighted how skills shortages have increased since the last financial recovery; 79% of UK employers say the biggest challenge will be a shortage of suitable candidates.
