The Local Jobs Market
We know the local market and fully understand the challenges facing both our candidates and clients.
Across the UK in general, employment rates in quarter two were the highest since records began in 1971 (ONS).
Locally, Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (WLEP), has a target to create 25,000 new jobs and 10,000 apprenticeships by 2025. To support such phenomenal local growth businesses need to work with recruitment partners who can deliver on their promises, ensuring a swift supply of contingency labour in a cost-effective way.
The local recruitment market is only set to become more competitive. A survey carried out in 2016 by the UK Commission for Employment & Skills highlighted how skills shortages have increased since the last financial recovery; 79% of UK employers say the biggest challenge will be a shortage of suitable candidates.
